Field Sales Representative

The applicant will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.


Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for new business in the area of Azure Cloud Services

Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers

Be knowledgeable about Azure Cloud Services and keep updated on professional and technical knowledge

Demonstrate the company's platform and present value to prospective customers

Work with prospects to define their ideal outcome and map out success criteria

Understand customer needs

Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in certain territories

Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements

Identify and attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients

Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

Update client information in the company contact database

Adheres to all company policies and procedures

Job qualifications

5+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced, high tech, b2b selling environment

Previous and recent experience selling IaaS, PaaS, Cloud and/or storage SaaS solutions

Persuasive, tactful, and professional, with strong oral, written and negotiation skills

Self-motivated, problem solver able to adapt and overcome challenges swiftly and competently

Ability to communicate with technical concepts clearly to clients

Demonstrates advanced sales skills with ability to establish and exceed goals

Strong computer skills - proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

The ability to develop effective presentations and proposals

Fluent English (additional language would be a plus)

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience.
