Senior Azure Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Azure Engineer to lead migrations to Azure environment.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design sessions; Architect, Document and Develop technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between the client’s current and desired end-states

Strategize, Design, Architect and implement scalable Cloud solutions

Migrate Solutions from AWS, S3, EC2, Redshift, RDS, NoSQL, EMR and/or Google Cloud, BigQuery to Azure Cloud Landing Zone

Thoroughly assess client needs and lead effective strategic and technical engagements

Plan solution patterns using leading cloud, open-source and vendor technologies

Work closely with internal product team to improve and support their development and release processes. This will include developing and maintaining in-house tools and scripts to support the product development team’s needs

Scoping and defining strategies for robust data collection at scale, contributing to data labeling and annotation efforts and effectiveness in accelerating high-quality data deliverables

Engaging in strategic discussions to identify problems while measuring and improving the quality of workflows. Identify and implement opportunities to improve tooling and migration/implementation of scalable solutions

Job qualifications

5+ years experience successfully delivering Big Data data infrastructure solutions and migrations to Azure

In-depth experience building solutions using Azure Services

Experience using data mining techniques and working with data-intensive applications

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients

The ability to develop effective presentations and proposals

Advanced knowledge of algorithms and experience operationalizing Analytics for business consumption

DevOps and Agile Methodologies

Certified Cloud Architect in Azure

Fluent English (additional language would be a plus)
